As Alfa Romeo embarks on its transition to an all-electric lineup by 2027, the legendary automaker is celebrating its final gasoline-powered performance vehicles with exclusive Quadrifoglio Super Sport editions of the Stelvio SUV and Giulia sedan. Known for a century-long legacy centered on performance, Alfa Romeo ensures that the end of its gasoline era will be marked with a special tribute.
To commemorate this milestone, Alfa Romeo has announced the release of the Quadrifoglio Super Sport models. Production is limited to a total of 450 units, with 275 Giulia and 175 Stelvio models. In the U.S., enthusiasts will have the opportunity to acquire 72 Giulias and 52 Stelvios, making these vehicles exceptionally rare.
The special editions stand out with their unique visual enhancements. Both models feature a redesigned Quadrifoglio logo, extensive carbon fiber elements and a sleek, all-black paint job. They also come equipped with signature five-hole alloy wheels. Inside, the vehicles are adorned with red carbon-fiber trim and model-specific red embroidery. Additionally, the Giulia offers an exposed carbon-fiber roof, while the Stelvio includes an optional dual-pane sunroof.
Looking ahead, Alfa Romeo plans to exclusively offer electric vehicles starting in 2027. The brand has already introduced its first EV, the Alfa Romeo Junior, in Europe and is set to launch a new model on Stellantis' STLA electric platform. As Alfa Romeo transitions to a new era of electrification, the Quadrifoglio Super Sport models serve as a powerful farewell to its storied history of gasoline-powered performance.
For those who have long admired the high-powered V-6 engines of Alfa Romeo, this limited-edition release represents a final chance to own a piece of automotive history.
