The Alfa Romeo Giulia was Named an Editors' Choice

Earlier this month, it was announced that the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan had been named a Car and Driver 2018 Editors' Choice -- recognition that the Giulia stood proudly among the world's best vehicles. This award comes on the heels of Car and Driver naming the Giulia sedan to its 2018 10Best Cars list in November.

Alfa Romeo Giulia models boast an all-aluminum 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that teams with an 8-speed automatic transmission to generate a best-in-class 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to the nearly-perfect weight distribution, the Giulia offers the delightful handling and control that you expect of this famed Italian brand. Standard features include leather seating, a backup camera with parking sensors, and bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.

The Editors' Choice selections are made from the roster of all-new or significantly updated vehicles that Car and Driver tested, evaluated or drove in 2017 -- more than 700 in all. In a press release, Car and Driver stated that their criteria included "...a vehicle’s inherent value, how well it fulfills its intended mission relative to its segment competitors and how engaging it is from behind the wheel."
